One person was airlifted and 2 others were injured, including a young child, after this crash at the corner of Expressway Drive North and Patchogue-Yaphank Ave in Yaphank this afternoon.
Luckily, the child’s injuries are minor in nature but a woman was airlifted to Stony Brook University for treatment.
The impact caused one vehicle to roll over onto it’s side. Yaphank FD removed the patients and multiple EMS units treated those victims.
Suffolk Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
