At around 8:45PM on Halloween night, Suffolk Police and Selden FD/EMS were called to the intersection of Mooney Pond Rd. and Orchard Dr. after a 15 year old male was struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle, which appears to have been heading east on Mooney Pond and turning into a driveway when the teen was struck, remained at the scene and it appears there was no criminality.
The teen was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with lower body injuries which were considered non life threatening.
