Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating the shooting of a man in Coram last night.

A 19-year-old man was standing in front of 101 Aycock Place when he was shot in his side at 10:10 p.m. The man was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
