On Friday, November 5, 2021, at approximately 9:52 pm, the State Police responded to a call of an unresponsive male lying in the roadway at Old Point Road, Shinnecock Indian Reservation, Suffolk County. Troopers located the unresponsive male, Ali Wisdom, 43, of Sag Harbor, NY, who is not a member of the Shinnecock Nation, and discovered he had been shot. Wisdom was transported to Southampton Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation, and the State Police is asking for anyone with information regarding this homicide to call (631) 756-3300.
