Suffolk County Police today arrested an East Islip man for fatally shooting another man outside a Central Islip bar.
German Ramirez and Ismael Rodriguez-Rosado became involved in an argument on the property of Mi Nuevo Encanto, located at 65 Carleton Ave., and Rodriguez-Rosado fired multiple shots, striking Ramirez. The two were known to one another prior to the altercation.
Ramirez, 31, of Bay Shore, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.
Rodriguez-Rosado fled the scene and was located by responding officers a short time later. Rodriguez-Rosado, 27, was charged with Murder 2nd Degree and will be held overnight for arraignment on August 3 at First District Court in Central Islip.
