Suffolk County Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man in Coram on Saturday night, December 26. Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot on Homestead Drive at 9:45 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
