Suffolk County Police detectives and crime scene units spent much of last night searching for evidence after a teenager was stabbed and seriously injured in a school yard.

According to police: “Following a dispute with three teenage males, a 16-year-old male was stabbed multiple times on the soccer field behind Boyle Road Elementary School, located at 424 Boyle Road, at approximately 8 p.m. The assailants then fled on foot on Bedford Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.”
