Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Farmingville last night.
A woman was walking northbound across Horseblock Road at the intersection of Granny Road, when she was struck by a westbound 2021 Nissan Rogue at 10:54 p.m.
The pedestrian, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver, 29, of Bellport, was not injured.
