Commack, NY – One person was left with serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a tractor trailer this afternoon. Units on scene reported the driver of the red vehicle was heavily pinned with serious injuries as crews worked to remove the victim. The driver was then airlifted to an area hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries. Suffolk County Police crime scene unit and detective squad were called to investigate the incident.
