UPDATED INFORMATION:
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that killed one man and injured two others in Farmingville early this morning.
A group of people were involved in a fight in the parking lot of Tiffany Plaza, located at 1075 Portion Road, when one person fired shots at approximately 3 a.m. Three men were struck.
Jorge Mauricio Sevilla-Barrara, 28, of Farmingville, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Two other men, ages 21 and 22, were transported in private vehicles to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
