Lake Grove, NY- Suffolk Police and EMS were called to Williams Blvd in the Fairfield Courtyard at Lake Grove apartment complex after a reported shooting.
Upon arrival units located an adult male suffering from multiple gun shot wounds to the upper body. The victim was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center by Centereach Fire Department ambulance for treatment, but is expected to survive.
Police searched the area using K9 units and a helicopter but it appears no arrests were made. Witnesses saw multiple people fleeing the area just after the incident.
Suffolk Police 4th squad detectives and crime scene section were called to the scene for the investigation and evidence recovery.
