West Babylon, NY – Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a man outside a residence in West Babylon last night.
First Precinct police officers responded to 31 Gordon Ave., at 11:34 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a man was shot outside the residence.
The victim, Danie Philistin, 29, of New Jersey, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.
