The Homicide Squad reports the details of a house fire that occurred on Friday, September 18, 2020 in Bethpage.
According to Detectives, Officers received a call for a house fire at 454 Farm Ranch Road East and upon arrival they observed the house to be fully engulfed in flames. The Bethpage Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. A short time later a sole occupant in the house was recovered and at 3:08am was pronounced deceased and transported to the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office. No further injuries were reported. The Nassau County Arson Bomb Squad, Fire Marshall, Crime Scene Section and the Eighth Squad responded to the scene.
The investigation is currently deemed non-suspicious and under investigation.
