A portion of the Long Island Expressway was closed for a few hours overnight after a commercial truck crashed and overturned.
It happened in the east bound lanes just east of Bagatelle Rd. The two occupants of the vehicle were able to climb out and were only suffering from cuts and abrasions.
The roadway remained closed as multiple heavy duty tow trucks worked to right the vehicle and clear it off the roadway.
