Homeowner injured in Mother’s Day Blaze

Holbrook, NY – At approximately 11:05 AM, Holbrook Fire Department and Suffolk County Police were called to 263 Blue Point Road in Holbrook for a reported house fire. Upon arrival, units found a fully involved home and began fire suppression operations. The homeowner was able to escape with non-life-threatening injuries. Mutual aid companies included Sayville, Bayport, North Patchogue, and Holtsville Fire Department. Suffolk County Police and Islip Town Fire Marshal are further investigating the incident to determine the cause.
