According to Suffolk County Police, First Precinct officers responded to the Babylon Village Pool, located at 700 Fire Island Ave. South, after a helicopter landed in the parking lot at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18.
The helicopter set down due to heavy winds. There were no injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration was notified.
