At around 7pm the Farmingdale Fire Company was called to a warehouse at 340 Eastern Parkway after passers by reported flames from the building. Upon arrival units were met with flames showing from multiple windows on multiple floors. Surrounding departments were called in for ladder trucks as units went into an exterior attack due to possibility of collapse. A Plascal Corporation sign is on the building but it appears to be unoccupied at this time.
There were no injuries reported. The Nassau County Fire Marshal was called to the scene for an investigation.
