Just before 2pm the Selden Fire Department was called for a reported attic fire on Lefferts Place in Coram.
Upon arrival units had fire coming from the roof of the 2 story dwelling. The fire was brought under control in about an hour with assistance from multiple surrounding departments.
No injuries were reported. The Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal’s Office was notified to determine the cause of the fire.
