Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a crash that killed a man in Manorville last night.
A man was operating a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe on westbound Long Island Expressway, when he lost control of his vehicle between exits 69 and 68 and struck a bridge abutment and overturned. The driver, 22, of Babylon, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
