Check out the gallery of images after Saturday storms barreled through Nassau and Suffolk Counties sparking tornado warnings.
A possible tornado that started in Mastic destroyed the roof and overhang of a strip mall, continued to McGraw St. where it ripped the roof off a large apartment building and ended in Brookhaven Airport where it flipped and damaged multiple airplanes parked on the property.
So far it appears nobody was injured across the island but damage is estimated in the millions. Houses, vehicles, commercial buildings were all damaged along with sporadic power outages where trees pulled down wires in Manorville and Shirley.
Awaiting word from the National Weather Service who will examine damage in multiple suspected tornado touchdown areas of both counties.
