The Selden Fire Department was alerted to a house fire early this morning just before 5 am on Linden St.
Upon arrival units were met with heavy wind fueled fire from a large 2 story home. The occupants of the house were able to evacuate without injury.
Multiple departments were called in to assist in extinguishing the fire which was brought under control in about 2 hours. No injuries to civilian or fire personnel were reported.
The Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
