Suffolk County Police have arrested three residents of a home in North Babylon and seized drugs and weapons following the execution of a search warrant.
Following an investigation, Third Squad Special Operations Team (SOT) detectives, with the assistance of the Third Precinct Gang Unit, First Precinct Patrol officers, Emergency Service Section officers and Canine Section officers, executed a search warrant at 51 Higgins Street at approximately 6 a.m. A sizable quantity of crack, cocaine, fentanyl and heroin were seized. Detectives also seized two illegal 9 mm handguns and more than $36,000 in cash.
Levar Jackson, 41, was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He also had an active parole warrant. Rhamel Stanford, 34, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree. Jaclyn Misuraca, 42, was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree.
A 4-year-old girl was released into the custody of a family member at the scene.
All three were scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on today.
