At around midnight the Suffolk County Police Highway Patrol was called to the east bound lanes of the Long Island Expressway near exit 49 after an SUV lost control, rolled over and jumped the guard rail on the shoulder of the road.
The driver was able to self extricate from the badly damaged vehicle and was reporting no injuries.
Awaiting official word on any charges from Suffolk Police at this time. Part of the roadway was closed down for the removal of the vehicle. It appears no other vehicles were involved at this time.
