East Patchogue, NY- At around 4:25 Suffolk Police and EMS were called to Montauk Highway between Scherger Ave and Donegan Ave after a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle.
The unidentified bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle was heading west on Montauk Highway when it struck the bicycle.
Suffolk Police 5th squad detectives and crime scene section were called to the scene for an accident investigation. No word on any criminality at this time.
