The Suffolk County Police homicide squad is investigating a stabbing incident in Deer Park that claimed the life of one person and left a second with serious injuries.

Suffolk County Police have arrested a Deer Park woman for stabbing her ex-boyfriends mother to death and then stabbing her ex boyfriend at their Deer Park home yesterday.
During an altercation at her home located at 169 Smith Street, Shaquela Titley stabbed her ex-boyfriends mother, Marie Mille to death. Mille’s son, Joseph Mille returned home and Titley stabbed him. Joseph Mille fled and called 911 from a neighbors home at approximately 12:20 p.m. Police are continuing the investigation to determine the time of the initial incident.
Marie Mille, 85 was pronounced dead by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. Joseph Mille, 47, was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Titley was arrested at the Fifth Precinct in Patchogue at approximately 1:45 p.m. She will be held overnight at the First Precinct.
Titley, 30, was charged with Murder Second Degree. She is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on December 24.
