At approximately, 8:46AM, on December 25, 2021, Southampton Town Police received a 911 call about a home invasion at a residence in North Sea at 90 Roses Grove Road. Patrol Units responded to the residence where a victim of a gunshot wound was located within the residence deceased.
Patrol Units requested Southampton Town Detectives to initiate the investigation. Suffolk County Homicide Unit was requested and responded.
The victim, whose identification is being withheld pending notification of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
