FDNY Firefighter tolley's final ride home
A solemn ceremony as Firefighter William Tolley, who died in the line of duty operating at a building fire with the FDNY, is brought back to his hometown by FDNY members, Bethpage FD members Hicksville FD members this afternoon. Ladder trucks from across Nassau County lined the route with American Flags and saluted as Tolley was carried in an FDNY Ambulance to Chapey's Funeral home where services will be held. He leaves behind a wife and young daughter.

4 young men found dead in p.a.l. park
A horriific discovery was made in a park on Clayton St. in Central Islip. The badly beaten and stabbed bodies of 3 teens and a 20 year old late Wednesday night. The victims are believed to be the victims of the MS-13 gang which has left a trail of bodies through hispanic areas of Brentwood and Central Islip. One of the victim's girlfriend was sent a video to her phone showing the bodies shortly after the murders. Suffolk Police homicide squad and the FBI are actively investigating the incident.
shed fire damages home on highland place in farmingville
Thursday afternoon the Farmingville FD was called to this home on Highland Pl after a report of a fire in a shed near the house. Upon arrival units were met with heavy fire from the shed and damage to the side of the house. The fire was quickly extinguioshed and the fire marshal's office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
elderly couple escape overnight house fire
Just before 3am the Farmingville FD was called to this house on Hazel Ave after residents noticed smoke and fire coming from the basement. Luckily they were able to escape the house without injury. Responders from the Farmingville, Selden, Holtsville and Ronkonkoma FDs came to the scene and brought the fire under control at around 3:45am. No injuries were reported. The Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal was called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire with did significant damage to the home.

Just after 1am the East Brentwood FD was called to this house on Bushwick Ave after fire was reported in the basement of a partitioned 3 family residence. All of the occupants, 14 in all, were able to escape the fire uninjured. Multiple fire departments assisted an no injuries were reported. The Fire Marshal and Arson squad will investigate the cause of the fire which made it's way to the 1st and 2nd floors. The house is uninhabitable. Video by Bryan Lopez
MASSIVE FIRE DESTROYS LARGE HOUSE EARLY SUNDAY MORNING
A very large home in an upscale neighborhood in East Northport was totally destroyed in a fast moving fire around 2am Sunday morning. ENFD arrived to this fire and realized the house could not be saved. There were no occupants inside at the time of the fire and no fire personnel were injured during the operation. The Suffolk Police Arson Squad is investigating the cause of the fire.
